COLCHESTER, Vt. Vermont’s second largest electric utility says its southern Vermont wind power facility in Searsburg had its best year last year.Green Mountain Power says above average wind speed helped the facility produce 14.7 million kilowatt hours of electricity, enough to power more than 2,000 Vermont homes.The figure was well above the 11.8 million kilowatt hour average the wind turbines .. more …
